On April 23, College of International Programs held a foreign students symposium. College leaders, related teachers and student representatives from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana and Benin attended the symposium.
During the meeting, student representatives expressed their satisfaction of the living and studying environment of the school and thanked stuff from the college for giving them care and help. They also presented specific problems of the current study and life and put forward many pertinent suggestions and opinions.
The college leaders welcomed students from Asian and African countries to study in our school. School leaders attach great importance to foreign students’ education. Teachers from College of International Programs will do their best on foreign students’ education.
On behalf of the concerns for students, college leaders gave patient explanation and announced that they will coordinate and cooperate with related departments as soon as possible and adopt feasible ways to solve the problems.
Through this symposium, college leaders and teachers know more about the learning and living conditions of foreign students. The faculty is full of confidence for international students’ education. The meeting has obtained good effect.
